Common Sense for a Common Voice
Becher has 40 years of proven success in the arena of public policy and fiscal stewardship. As a strong and creative leader, he is ready to begin repairing the damage done by 50 years of one party's control and extreme ideology in the State Assembly.
Making NY safe and affordable again by lowering energy and living costs and ending the criminal justice revolving door.
About Becher
Patrick J. Becher has spent more than four decades in the trenches of executive leadership — managing complex organizations, building teams, and delivering results when the stakes were highest. He knows what it takes to run an operation effectively, balance a budget, and hold himself accountable to the people he serves.
Rooted in Central New York, Becher has watched Albany's dysfunction drive up costs, drive out families, and leave working people behind. He's running for the 128th Assembly District because he believes leadership shouldn't be a lifetime appointment — it should be earned through results.
Becher will support GOP Gubernatorial Candidate Bruce Blakeman, Nassau County Executive, and Lt. Gubernatorial Candidate Sheriff Todd Hood, to help build a coalition focused on real solutions for real people.
Explore His PlatformKey Issues
Five clear priorities define the campaign: bring down costs, strengthen families, support law enforcement, and make Albany work for the people of Central New York again.
01
Skyrocketing energy costs are hammering families and businesses alike. Becher will push back on radical energy mandates that raise your bills, and fight for a balanced approach that keeps the lights on affordably. Low-cost, reliable energy is the heart of our economy and does not affect the climate.
02
Cut the red tape strangling Central New York businesses. Becher will fight for lower taxes, streamlined regulations, and policies that make our region competitive again for jobs and investment.
03
Every child in the 128th Assembly District deserves a world-class education. Becher will advocate for local control of schools, parental rights, and funding that follows students, not bureaucracies. He will also fight the plan to indoctrinate our children with new “climate science” requirements that will preach globalism in disguise.
04
Safe communities are the foundation of everything else. Becher will stand firmly with law enforcement, oppose bail reform that endangers our neighborhoods, and restore accountability to our justice system.
05
New York's tax burden has driven more than a million residents out of the state. Becher will work to cut wasteful spending, oppose unfunded mandates on local governments, and keep more money in your pocket.
